Santa's Quest 2026: Your Guide to Christmas at Bewl Water

This Christmas, a magical whisper stirs the trees at Bewl Water... and if you listen closely, you might just hear it calling your name.

Christmas at Bewl Water is back for 2026, with a brand-new festive adventure for families from Kent, Sussex and beyond. Set in an enchanted woodland at Bewl Water, near Lamberhurst on the Kent and Sussex border, it combines live storytelling, immersive play and the Christmas traditions you know and love, now with an exciting new twist.

A New Christmas Quest Begins

A message has arrived from the North Pole. Santa and his elves need your help to restore Christmas cheer at Bewl Water, and only families like yours can do it.

Step inside the story and become Cheer Champions. Guided by Santa's merry elves, your family will journey through an immersive world of live performances, playful panto-style moments and magical encounters, all woven into one unfolding Christmas adventure.

Magical Moments and Memory-Making

Along the way, you will discover a mix of beloved Christmas traditions and hands-on festive fun:

• The Elves' Workshop: a creative space where little ones build and decorate their own sleigh ornament to take home
• Rosemary's Bakery: decorate delicious shortbread biscuits to take home, or eat straight away
• Prancer's Pantry: make reindeer food to sprinkle on Christmas Eve and guide Santa's reindeer on their journey
• Dash's Post Office: step inside Postmaster Elf Dash's post office and send your wishes to Santa
• The Toy Exchange: where each child with a Child ticket redeems the token from their Santa visit for a Christmas gift

With beautifully designed photo moments throughout the journey, there are plenty of chances to capture the laughter, wonder and festive magic as your Quest unfolds.

Candy Land Food Court and Play Area

When the Quest is over, refuel in our free-flow space, where street food, warming mulled wine, cider and speciality hot drinks are available to buy. While grown-ups relax, little ones can keep the festive fun going on the Candy Land play frame.

Santa's Grotto: A Truly Personal Encounter

Christmas would not be complete without a special visit to Father Christmas himself. At the heart of every Christmas at Bewl Water experience is a private family visit with Santa, personalised for your child with their name, age and a little about their hobbies and interests. Your Grotto visit is exclusive to your booking: no strangers, just magic.

Two Ways to Step Inside the Story

• Grotto & Quest Experience: our signature Christmas adventure, with a personalised Santa interaction, a gift from the Toy Exchange, full participation in the Quest, interactive workshops and live performances.
• Mrs Claus Enhanced Experience: everything in the Grotto & Quest Experience, plus a private meet-and-greet with Mrs Claus in our enchanted woodland, a complimentary souvenir photo from your Santa visit, priority access to workshops and performances, an exclusive lanyard and extra goodies, including a souvenir Santa Key.
