Why Now's the Time to Plan Your Santa's Grotto Visit in Kent

Christmas at Bewl Water is back, with a brand-new adventure for 2026!

In our enchanted woodland near Lamberhurst, on the Kent and Sussex border, families come together to make memories that last. From meeting Santa himself to helping restore Christmas cheer in a world of festive fun, Santa's Quest is a magical way to experience Christmas in Kent.

The Magic of Santa's Grotto at Bewl Water

A private, personalised visit with Santa is at the heart of every Christmas at Bewl Water experience. Your little Cheer Champions will meet Santa in his grotto and share their wishes, and because you can tell us their name, age, hobbies and interests when you book, the moment feels made just for them.

Families also set off on an immersive adventure, with interactive live performances, hands-on festive workshops such as Prancer's Pantry, where children mix reindeer food for Christmas Eve, and plenty of surprises along the way. Allow around three hours for the full experience. Every moment is crafted to spark wonder, laughter and magic.

Why Plan Ahead

Christmas at Bewl Water runs on selected dates from 28 November to 24 December 2026, and all Santa's Grotto & Quest Experience tickets must be booked online in advance. Planning early simply means more choice and less to think about in the busy weeks before Christmas.

By planning ahead, you can:

• Choose the date and arrival time that suits your family best
• Share your child's details with us at booking, so their visit with Santa is personalised to them
• Spark excitement early for your little Cheer Champions, giving them something magical to look forward to
• Enjoy peace of mind, knowing your festive day out is sorted, leaving you free to focus on other Christmas traditions

Coming as a bigger party? Cheer Champions booking in groups of six or more receive 10% off their booking. Santa's Grotto visits are for up to eight guests at a time, so larger groups visit Santa in smaller booked groups and enjoy the rest of the Quest together. See our FAQ for details.

After all, Christmas comes but once a year, and there is nothing quite like knowing your family's festive day out is planned and waiting.
