A Festive Adventure You Step Inside

For 2026 we are welcoming families to Santa's Quest, a brand-new adventure with returning favourites and more festive surprises still to be revealed. Santa and his elves need your family's help to restore Christmas cheer at Bewl Water, and every family who joins becomes a team of Cheer Champions.

Allow around three hours for the full experience. The Quest itself lasts just under two hours, and afterwards you are welcome to stay, eat, play and explore for as long as you like.

Every Grotto & Quest Experience includes:

• Full participation in the Quest Experience
• Interactive workshops and festive creations to take home

Workshops, Shows and Wonder

Along the way, families discover a series of magical stops:

• Rosemary's Bakery, where children decorate their own shortbread biscuits to take home (or eat straight away)
• The Elves' Workshop, where little ones build and decorate their own sleigh ornaments
• Prancer's Pantry, where families mix reindeer food to sprinkle on Christmas Eve
• Dash's Post Office, where children send their all-important wishes to Santa

Our interactive live performances bring the story to life with cheer chants, storytelling and playful panto-style moments that the whole family can join in with.

Meet Santa in His Grotto

The highlight of every visit is a private family visit with Santa himself. When you book, you can share your child's name, age and a little about their hobbies and interests, so the moment feels personal and truly memorable. Each visit is for your family's booking only, with up to eight guests per visit and no sharing with strangers.

Christmas at Bewl Water takes place at Bewl Water, Bewlbridge Lane, Lamberhurst, Kent TN3 8JH, just off the A21. Turn onto Bewlbridge Lane to find us. One free parking ticket is included with every booking.

Most of the experience is under cover, but there are outdoor sections in the woodland, so wrap up warm and wear sturdy footwear.
