Meeting Santa is just one part of a bigger story. In 2026, families step into Santa's Quest, a brand-new festive adventure. Santa and his elves need your help to restore Christmas cheer at Bewl Water, and your family becomes part of the tale as Cheer Champions.

Along the way you will find live, interactive performances full of laughter, cheer chants and playful panto-style moments, plus hands-on workshops including:

• Rosemary's Bakery, where children decorate their own shortbread biscuits
• The Elves' Workshop, where little ones build and decorate their own sleigh ornament to take home
• Prancer's Pantry, for mixing magical reindeer food to sprinkle on Christmas Eve
• Dash's Post Office, where wishes are sent straight to Santa

We recommend allowing around three hours for the full experience, so the magic really does keep going.

3. Play, Explore and Discover Together

After the Quest, there is time to slow down and enjoy it all together. The Candy Land Food Court is a free-flow space where you can eat, play, explore and shop, with street food, warming mulled wine, cider and speciality hot drinks available to buy. While grown-ups relax, little ones can keep the festive fun going on the Candy Land play frame, and you are welcome to stay and play as long as you wish.

Every child on a Child ticket also chooses a gift from the Toy Exchange, a lovely way to round off their adventure.

4. The Perfect Festive Setting

Christmas at Bewl Water takes place in an enchanted woodland setting at Bewl Water, with fairy lights, festive scenes and beautifully designed photo moments throughout the journey. Most of the experience is under cover, and it runs come rain, shine or snow, so just wrap up warm and wear sturdy footwear for the outdoor sections.

From the moment you step inside, it feels less like a visit and more like stepping into a storybook Christmas.

5. Memories That Last a Lifetime

From the first elf encounter to the magical meeting with Santa, every step is designed to create heart-warming family memories. You are welcome to take photos for your own family album, and official Grotto photographs are available to buy straight after your Santa visit.
